We pay our respects to the Gundungurra people who are the traditional custodians of the land, whose deepening connection to culture and customs have cared for this country for over 60,000 years.
We acknowledge Elders past, present and emerging for their immense spiritual connection to place which was never ceded.

Workshop description: Eloise of Elph Ceramics is excited to offer a creative introduction to ceramic hand building class for teens at Ngununggula. In this class, students will have the opportunity to learn the basics of hand building with clay, creating unique ceramic pieces.
In this introductory course, Eloise will teach students how to prepare and shape the clay, using a variety of hand building techniques like coiling, slab building and pinching. Students will be encouraged to experiment with different shapes and styles. Each student will be able to pick their favourite piece for Eloise to glaze and fire.
Pieces will be available to collect from Ngununggula 2 weeks after the class.
About the artist: Eloise Rankine is the co-founder and head of production at Elph Ceramics. Eloise studied Fine Arts at the National Art School. When she’s not throwing pieces for Elph Ceramics, Eloise makes porcelain artworks which are thrown, altered and carved by hand. Eloise lives and works in the Southern Highlands.
