We pay our respects to the Gundungurra people who are the traditional custodians of the land, whose deepening connection to culture and customs have cared for this country for over 60,000 years.
We acknowledge Elders past, present and emerging for their immense spiritual connection to place which was never ceded.

Workshop description: Join artist Lily Cummins and create and construct flowers and plants using felt, pipe cleaners, paper and other art materials. Students will develop skills in colour theory and sculpture. Lily will guide students through construction and mark making.
About the artist: Lily Cummins is an artist based on Gundungurra land (Southern Highlands, NSW). Her practice examines both the self and the emotive bonds and attachments people develop to places, through investigative mark making and colour theory. Cummins’ practice is intuitive and relies on her imagination to conjure up scenes of nostalgia for a memory the audience will never know or a place they have never been. However, the familiarity of these enigmatic places is deliberate as Cummins draws on her own memories to weave a dream-like patchwork of dissonant colours and marks.
