Join us for a weekend photography masterclass with program artist Tamara Dean. Spread over a weekend, you will work directly with the artist, learn about the principles of photography, and build your portfolio of work.
To participate in the class, you must have a Digital SLR camera, a tripod and intermediate photography skills.
Day 1 - Saturday 27 November
3:30pm - 8:30pm
Tamara will discuss her practice, take you through her process and give a guided tour of her exhibition High Jinks in the Hydrangeas. The artist captured many of her photographs at Retford Park Garden, she will guide you through the sculpted landscape and discuss how she orchestrates her scenes. You will then have the opportunity to create your own work in a guided session with the artist.
A light dinner will be provided.
Day 2 - Sunday 28 November
Individually allocated time slot
Ngununggula staff will be in touch to schedule you in for a one-on-one session with Tamara to discuss the work you produced during the practical session.
