Ngununggula’s Education Program aims to outline a plan that will nurture creativity and enjoyment of the arts for all ages and abilities. One that aligns with school curriculum outcomes while inspiring meaningful engagement through accessible and engaging educational activities. Our tailored educational activities include guided exhibition tours and art-making activities that support students and teachers in understanding the world of visual arts. For every exhibition at Ngununggula, we also produce Education Kits and Learning and Activity Resources. You can access these via Learning Resources.

EXCURSIONS AT NGUNUNGGULA

Ages: Kindergarten – Year 12
Cost: $10 Per student Guided Exhibition Tour & Art-Making Activity
Numbers: Groups of up to 30 students. Please contact us if you would like to bring a bigger group, as we can tailor a program to suit you.

INCURSIONS

We offer incursions to schools as an introduction before your excursion or if you're unable to visit Ngununggula. Our diverse and engaging incursion programs can include:

  • Artist visits and workshops

  • Student Art Prize art-making lessons

  • Presentations about our exhibitions

  • Art-making lessons

We can visit a class, year group or your entire school. Our incursion program is FREE for those in the Wingecarribee and Wollondilly Shires!

TRAVEL SUBSIDY

We want to minimise the costs to enable children and young people to access Ngununggula. We have a travel subsidy available for excursion bookings. Please get in touch with our Creative Learning Manager for details.
