We pay our respects to the Gundungurra people who are the traditional custodians of the land, whose deepening connection to culture and customs have cared for this country for over 60,000 years.
We acknowledge Elders past, present and emerging for their immense spiritual connection to place which was never ceded.

Offering a fresh approach to painting is Ngununggula’s next Sunday Painters Series artist, Heath Nock, who has come to the medium as a celebrated draughtsperson and tattoo artist. Living on Gandangara lands, in The Southern Tablelands, Nock explores his relationship with the Australian landscape working in oil and synthetic polymers paint, and pushing the figure into genderless forms in both urban and rural settings. His segue from a more graphic tattoo style to a brushy, fluid abstraction has been seamless, often taking its cue from music to tap into the world around him.
Join Heath Nock in a workshop that will unlock your own gestural, rhythmic expression in paint.
Ngununggula’s Sunday Painters workshops series is held fortnightly, inviting painters to share their skills using various media, including watercolour, acrylic and oil paints. The artist will guide you in a 3-hour workshop and help you develop your painting practice and excite your artistic skills. From realism to abstraction, there’s something for everyone.
This program will be run at Ngununggula, and classes are limited to 10 adults. Registration is required via the Eventbrite link.
